JOBST® Compri2 is a two-layer short-stretch compression bandage system, applied by a clinician. The padding layer goes on first, against the skin; the second layer carries a cohesive coating that sticks to itself rather than to skin or hair, so the bandage stays where it was put. Together they hold sustained graduated compression for up to seven days.

The standard kit reaches at least 40 mmHg once both layers are on; the Lite kit averages about 30 mmHg. An indicator printed on the bandage changes from an oval to a circle when it is stretched to the right tension, and the wrap can be corrected after the first pass instead of being started again.

JOBST states that the standard version is for an ankle-brachial pressure index (ABPI) of 0.8 or above, and the Lite version for an ABPI between 0.5 and 0.8 — the reading your clinician takes before compression starts. Each kit is single use.

Ankle — the ankle circumference the kit fits, measured around the narrowest part of the leg just above the ankle bone

Single use — do not re-use this product

JOBST publishes this application sequence for Compri2; it is applied by a clinician.

Hold the foot at 90 degrees to the leg
Start the bandage at the base of the toes and wrap around the foot
Keep wrapping around the foot, overlapping on the back of the foot so half of the bandage width covers the ankle
Take the next turn over the heel
Continue up to the knee, overlapping as you go, with the padded bandage following the shape of the leg and only minimal stretch
Remove any excess material and press the end of the bandage down lightly
Watch the indicator: stretched correctly, it changes from an oval to a circle
