Hypafix® is a wide-area fixation sheet: a soft, stretchable non-woven strip cut from the roll to whatever size a dressing needs and laid over it to hold it down. It is widely used instead of surgical tape at the edges, because covering the whole dressing keeps its perimeter sealed and reduces the risk of contamination.

It stretches across its width, so it settles over an elbow, a knee or another highly contoured area and gives light compression without constricting. The skin-friendly adhesive holds even when the skin is moist, and the fabric breathes.

The release paper has a split liner for easy peeling and a printed square grid to cut against. Supplied as 10 m rolls in widths from 2.5 cm to 20 cm.
