Delta-Lite® Plus is a fibreglass casting tape — the rigid outer layer a clinician wraps over stockinette and padding to immobilise a fracture. It sets into an extra-rigid cast with a smooth, non-abrasive surface and clean edges, and stays light enough to wear for the length of a treatment.

The tape is impregnated with a water-activated polyurethane resin with low tack, so it handles cleanly and can be moulded wearing standard examination gloves. Working and set times are consistent roll to roll, layers laminate strongly to one another, and the finished cast is highly radiolucent, so the fracture can be x-rayed without taking the cast off.

Supplied as rolls — 2.5 cm x 1.8 m and 5 to 12.5 cm x 3.6 m — in white plus a range of colours. Choose the width and colour on this page.
