Delta-Dry® is a water-resistant cast padding, applied under a synthetic cast in place of ordinary cotton or synthetic padding. Its patented open-knit structure drains fast once the cast has been under water, and body heat then evaporates what is left through the airy mesh — so cast and skin dry quickly rather than staying damp for a day.

That is what lets the patient shower, swim, bathe and wash their hands normally, and it keeps odour under control. It conforms well to body contours, applies as simply and quickly as regular padding, and can be rinsed through during the wear period.

Supplied as rolls 5, 7.5 and 10 cm wide, 2.4 m long. Use it with Delta-Dry Stockinette for a fully water-resistant undercast layer.
