Delta-Cast® Soft is a semi-rigid casting tape. It supports the injury while still allowing a limited range of movement, which is the point: full rigid immobilisation costs muscle bulk and joint stiffness, and a semi-rigid cast gives some of that back.

The tape combines polyester, polypropylene and elastane yarns with a purpose-made resin, so it conforms in every direction and goes on without creases around difficult contours. It is highly radiolucent, finishes with soft edges, and can be trimmed to shape, combined with hook-and-loop straps for a removable cast, or reinforced where more support is needed.

It comes off without a cast saw — by unpeeling, or with ordinary cast scissors. Supplied as rolls, 2.5 cm x 1.8 m and 5 to 12.5 cm x 3.6 m, in plain colours and a paw print.
