Cutimed® Sorbion® Sachet XL is the large-format super-absorbent dressing, 25 x 45 cm, for wounds that are simply too big or too awkwardly placed for a standard sachet — the lower leg, the sacral region, the thorax, the thigh and the lower abdomen.

The core is a fibre matrix that draws large volumes of exudate in and locks it as a gel, and keeps holding it under compression — so dressings are changed less often, up to four days apart. The matrix stays stable even when saturated, so it does not form lumps or pressure points and stays in full contact with the wound. Along with the fluid it takes up wound debris and traps micro-organisms, and it keeps the wound moist by gel formation. There are no binders or adhesives in it.

Either side can be applied to the wound. Sterile, ten dressings a box.
