Cutimed® Sorbion® Sachet Multi Star is the star-shaped version of the super-absorbent sachet. The arms let it be folded and tucked where a rectangle will not sit flat — around toes, over a heel, across the foot, on the sacrum or chest, and into wound cavities.

The core is a fibre matrix that draws large volumes of exudate in and locks it as a gel, and keeps holding it under compression — so dressings are changed less often, up to four days apart. The matrix stays stable even when saturated, so it does not form lumps or pressure points and stays in full contact with the wound. Along with the fluid it takes up wound debris and traps micro-organisms, and it keeps the wound moist by gel formation. There are no binders or adhesives in it.

Either side can be applied to the wound. Sterile, in two diameters, 8 cm and 14 cm, ten dressings a box.
