Adjustable compression for the treatment of thigh muscle injuries

The breathable MyoTrain® orthopedic brace offers an enhanced alternative to taping for muscle injuries to the thigh and hamstrings, such as muscle fiber tears or pulls, myosclerosis or bruising. The special combination of knit, strap system and two different visco-elastic pressure cushions (pads), which can be added or removed as required, allows swelling to subside more quickly and accelerates the healing process.

This is a medical-grade orthopaedic brace that incorporates semi-rigid structural support. Braces and orthoses built with semi-rigid components are usually covered under Canadian extended health benefit plans (e.g. Sun Life, Manulife, Great-West Life, Blue Cross, Green Shield Canada) when accompanied by a valid prescription from your physician or nurse practitioner. It may also qualify as an eligible medical expense under the CRA's Medical Expense Tax Credit. Sized on thigh circumference, measured around the middle of the thigh. Check this product's size chart below before ordering. If you're between sizes, contact us and we'll help you measure.

Machine wash in cold or cool water (about 30°C/86°F) on the gentle or delicate cycle
Wash with similar colours using a regular detergent with no additives -- avoid fabric softener
Use a mesh laundry bag, and secure hook-and-loop (velcro) tabs first to protect the knit
Hand washing is gentler and may extend the product's life
For light use, washing every two to three wears is enough; heavy use needs more frequent washing
Lay flat to air dry -- do not hang to dry (the fabric can stretch out of shape) and do not tumble dry
