The Aspen® Horizon™ PRO 464 TLSO is the most supportive brace in the Horizon PRO line: an inelastic belt carrying an abdominal panel, a height-adjustable sternal pad and underarm control straps that can also be run over the shoulders.

It is the one Horizon PRO whose own instructions name osteoporosis-related kyphosis (forward rounding of the upper back) and painful scoliosis among what it is used for, alongside post-operative support and disc and fracture conditions. A bar extender adds height for taller wearers, lateral panels can be added, removed or trimmed for width, and the back panels can be modified by a fitter.

One brace covers four sizing positions, and the two pull tabs tighten the lower and upper halves separately.

Aspen prints these steps; the first fitting of a post-surgical brace should be supervised by your clinician.

Set the size first: peel up the inside end of each side panel, adjust until the brace closes properly, and press it back down. Aspen's sizes follow standard trouser sizing closely and are guidelines only.
Place the pull tabs about 2 inches (5 cm) from the plastic at the back, then pull the ends apart so the belt is fully extended.
Centre the back panel as low as it will comfortably sit, then slide the abdominal panel and sternal pad sideways so both sit at the midline of the body.
For a taller wearer, add the bar extender to the abdominal panel sheath: pry the button back and slide the aluminium strut until the button locks in the right hole.
Set the sternal pad height by pressing the button marked with the leaf logo inward and raising or lowering the pad.
Add or remove lateral panels for width; the back panels can be trimmed to fit.
Attach the underarm control straps to the sternal pad and pull them to tighten, or reposition them over the shoulders.
Slip your thumbs through the pull tabs and pull away from the body — the left tab controls the lower compression, the right the upper — then press the tabs onto the loop material at the front.
