AquaCast® Liner is a waterproof, breathable cast padding used under waterproof casting material, so the whole cast can get wet. That is the difference it makes day to day: the patient can shower, bathe, swim and exercise instead of taping a bag over the arm.

The liner is moisture-vapour permeable and built with pillows and channels — raised sections and grooves that add cushioning and give water a route out, so the cast drains quickly after it is submerged. The skin underneath can be washed and rinsed thoroughly, which cuts odour and leaves the skin in better condition when the cast comes off, and the smooth material surface means less itching.

Supplied as rolls 5 to 15 cm wide, 1.6 m long.
