The Actimove® Walker Heel Wedge sits inside an Actimove walker and lifts the heel, which shortens the distance the Achilles tendon has to span and takes tension off it while it heals. It is the accessory that turns a walker into an Achilles protocol: Actimove's own selection guide only lists Achilles tendon repairs as a use for its walkers when this wedge is fitted.

The wedge is adjustable, so the amount of lift can be reduced in stages as recovery progresses and the tendon is asked to take more length. One universal size fits the Actimove walker range.

This is an accessory, not a brace - it is bought alongside an Actimove Standard Walker, Standard Air Walker or Closed Shell Air Walker, not instead of one.
