Compression
Every compression garment we stock in one place — knee high socks, thigh high stockings, pantyhose, maternity styles, arm sleeves and adjustable wraps from medi, Bauerfeind, Sigvaris and JOBST. Compression levels run from light 15-20 mmHg (millimetres of mercury, the unit compression is measured in) everyday support through the 20-30 and 30-40 mmHg medical grades to 40-50 and 50-60 mmHg classes for advanced venous and lymphatic conditions.
If you know your compression class, filter by level, length and toe style to narrow the shelf. If you don't, the class you need is a clinical decision — your physician, nurse or fitter should set it. Medical-grade compression of 20-30 mmHg and above is commonly reimbursed by Canadian extended health benefit plans with a prescription, and every product page carries its own insurance note.
